Diamonds- a lie covered in blood, cruelty, pollution, well you get the jist: [link]
And I don't think diamonds are pretty, either. Never have. There, I said it! I think people look better without jewelry, and diamonds have never sat well with me. You know in the show "How it's Made" and they show you the mining processes of say....gold- how huuuuge machines churn up hundreds of tons of pristine alaska wilderness for a few ounces of it to make jewelry? You think THAT's bad-- they won't even show you the processes involved to mine diamonds-- unless you get your kicks from seeing indentured servants, child laborors, and children forced into war. Then I suppose you'd have to pay to see that. Oh wait, you CAN! [link] [link] [link] So basically I made this stamp for all the people who dislike diamonds and feel that voicing their dislike would make them seem wierd to others. You're not alone! We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
